How to Produce and Broadcast Online
Come along to this peer-to-peer learning event for an afternoon of editing, microphones, microblogging and broadcasting.
Tristan Boyle (a.k.a the Anarchaeologist), co-founder of the Archaeology Podcast Network, will lead us through the basics of producing online shows before we break off for a bit of (voluntary) audience participation. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is thinking about starting their own podcast or video blog, or simply wants to know how these technologies are used. Expect to learn about planning, basic editing of media using free software, and the various platforms that can be used to share your content with the world.
As always, there will also be an opportunity to pick up and share social media tips, bounce ideas around, solve stubborn problems, learn about upcoming projects and training events, and identify partnership opportunities.
